My understanding is that you need a bit of technical know-how to obtain and run the needed smartphone/tablet app since the company itself is no longer in business.  This is why the set is listed for this price despite the great condition the cars, track, etc. is in, and therefore it is being sold AS-IS with no returns accepted.
So why list it? Because there are (a) folks out there still enjoying their sets who need replacement cars, etc., and (b) hobbyists who have the knowledge and skills to keep these fun (and revolutionary at the time) games going strong. Hopefully this finds a home, but I'm adding this warning to keep someone from buying it and then not being able to play with it.
